RF Board and Heat Sink
Removing the RF board involves removing several other components first:
•Cover
• RF heat sink bracket
• Front panel
• Control board
• Cables to RF board
•Screws
Removing the heat sink involves removing the RF board, then the heat sink clip.
Installing the heat sink and RF board reverses the process.
Tools Needed
• Phillips head screwdriver
Remove the RF board
1. Turn off the generator. Disconnect the power cord from the wall receptacle.
Disconnect any footswitches or handsets currently connected to the generator.
2. Remove the cover.
3. Remove two screws (M4 x .7 x 8) that secure the RF heat sink bracket to the
heat sink and the chassis. Remove the bracket.
4. Remove the front panel. For further information, refer to Front Panel and
Display Board in this chapter.
