GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
Avoid Electric Shock
All electronic parts on the Grunt EVO are powered by a battery source.
WARNING Completing service or replacing parts while the vehicle has
power can cause serious injury or death.
To prevent serious injury or death from electrical shock:
- Never service the vehicle with power connected.
- Disconnect the Grunt EVO from power by disconnecting the battery
harness from the battery. Move the battery harness to ensure the
connections cannot touch or rub.
- Remove the battery from the Grunt EVO before service.
HIGH VOLTAGE This symbol is located on parts of your motorcycle to
inform you that exposure to high voltage can cause shock, burns, and even
death.
Avoid Burns from Hot Parts
The motor, controller, DC-DC converter, belt, contactor, and brakes may
become hot during operation. Other Grunt EVO parts, such as display glass
and metal frames, may also be hot if exposed to extreme heat or sunlight.
Temperatures higher than 140°F (60°C) can be reached.
To prevent serious injuries from burns:
- Avoid contact during and shortly after operation.
- Be mindful of outside temperature before touching exposed items
that can retain heat, such as display glass or metal frames.
CAUTION Components can be hot after use or if exposed to high
temperatures.
