Tire Damage
Check all tires for:
- Cuts, slits, and cracks in the tires.
- Bumps or bulges in the side of the tire or the tread.
- Foreign objects on the side of the tire or the tread.
- Air leaks caused by fit on rim, faulty tire valve, or other damage.
If any of the above occurs, have the tire repaired or replaced before using
your EVO.
Wheels
The Grunt EVO Front and Rear rims are cast aluminum and powder coated
at 410°F (210°C) to maintain a durable finish for off-road use. The rims are
an AT 8x12. The wheel width measures 8 inches and the diameter
measures 12 inches. The rear rim has a unique offset to compensate for
the belt sprocket, belt line, and brake rotor attachment.
The height of an installed and inflated tire is 25 inches.
Front Wheel
Removing the Front Wheel
1. Raise the front wheel off the ground by placing a work stand or
equivalent under the EVO.
2. Loosen front axle nut. [Fig. 5, item 6]
3. Remove both brake caliper mounting bolts and washers. [Fig. 6]
4. Remove the front brake caliper. [Fig. 6]
5. Remove the front axle nut. [Fig. 5, item 6]
6. Remove the front axle. [Fig. 5, item 1]
7. Remove the wheel. [Fig. 5, item 2]
8. Remove the spacers from the wheel. [Fig. 5, item 5]
