Battery
The Grunt EVO battery is a 2.0kWH, 60V, 35Ah Lithium-Ion (NMC chemistry).
Critical cell data (voltage, current, temperature) is monitored internally by
the battery via a Battery Management System (BMS). The battery display
provides both the state-of-charge and voltage of the battery. Press the power
button on the battery display to toggle between either. NOTE: the display on
the EVO is the most accurate source of information for battery %.
Proper battery maintenance and storage is REQUIRED for coverage via
Volcon’s Two Year Battery Warranty.
Before your first ride ensure your battery is charged to 100%.
WARNING Always turn the motorcycle power OFF before connecting
or disconnecting the battery. Not doing so can cause damage to the battery
or electrical system of the motorcycle.
If the battery voltage drops below approximately 40V, the BMS will not allow
the battery to operate or recharge. Please contact your local Volcon
authorized service center if you have issues with your battery.
