MAINTENANCE
1. Determine your rider weight in pounds.
2. Refer to the following table for recommended preload settings in
millimeters (mm) based on your rider weight and the stock spring
rate [400 lbs/in]. NOTE: All measurements are from the top most
threads to the top of the lower adjuster ring; for preload setting.
3. Locate the preload adjuster ring(s) on your shock [Fig 13].
4. Using a spanner wrench, carefully turn the rings clockwise to
increase preload or counterclockwise to decrease preload.
5. Adjust the preload according to the recommended setting for your
rider weight.
6. Once the desired preload setting is achieved, ensure that the
adjuster ring(s) are securely tightened.
7. Test the suspension by riding in various conditions.
Make further adjustments as necessary to achieve the desired comforts and
performance.
