or water.
- Check to make sure the battery was not damaged during your ride.

Maintenance Cycle
After every ride, check the state-of-charge and voltage of your battery via the
Grunt EVO’s display [Fig. 14]. If the battery is fully discharged and reads
below 5%, it is advised to recharge the battery before storing or putting
away.
Do not leave the battery in a state-of-charge less than 30% for more than 30
days. Doing so may allow the battery voltage to drop below the 40V
threshold and cannot be recovered for use. This will automatically void your
battery warranty. Long-term storage requires state-of-charge and voltage
monitoring. See “Storage” for recommendations.
Once a Month (for long-term storage, please see suggestions under the
“Storage” section) - Run your battery to less than 20% and then fully recharge
to 100%. This action will reset the amp-hours of the battery, which will
ensure the accuracy of the state-of-charge measurement as the battery ages.
NOTE: the battery life is designed for up to 1,000 full charge/discharge cycles.
Full charging and balancing will take approximately 4 hours if the battery is at
0% state-of-charge.
