SAFE OPERATING INSTRUCTION
Always keep your speed low enough to allow time to see and react to
hazards.
Choose routes that are appropriate for your skill level and the level of risk
you are willing to accept. Do not put yourself or your motorcycle at risk by
operating your unit for a use not intended.
Riding Gear
Operating your EVO requires the same protective gear as on-road
motorcycles. With off-road use, there are significantly more risks than
found on paved roads or pathways.
In the event of a crash or accident, protective gear may prevent or reduce
injuries. Protective gear can also help you stay comfortable and provide
protection against the elements.
Statistics indicate that helmet use significantly reduces the risk of brain
injury. Always wear an approved motorcycle helmet. We also recommend
the following basic protective gear:
- Eye and Face protection
- Jacket or long sleeve shirt
- Gloves
- Long Pants
- Over the Ankle Footwear
Cargo and Loading
Your Volcon was designed as a utility motorcycle to carry cargo. Always
remember, the added weight of cargo could interfere with your ability to
move around, and maintain your balance, and could make controlling your
motorcycle difficult.
Exceeding the EVO's specified weight limits or carrying an unbalanced
load can seriously affect your motorcycle’s braking, stability, and handling.
