SAFE OPERATING INSTRUCTION
Adding accessories or making modifications that change this motorcycle’s
design and performance outside of Volcon-approved accessories can also
make it unsafe. The weight of additional accessories will reduce the
maximum load the motorcycle can carry.
How much weight you put on your motorcycle, and how that load is
secured, are very important to your safety. Always make sure that you
properly and safely secure any additional loads on your motorcycle.
WARNING If you decide to carry cargo, be aware of the following
information. Overloading your motorcycle can cause an accident resulting in
serious injury or death. Follow all load limits and guidelines in this manual.
Loading Guidelines
- Secure weight as close to the center of your motorcycle as possible.
- Do not attach large or heavy items to the front fender, rear fender,
handlebars, or front suspension.
- Ensure that all cargo is securely tied down and never exceeds the
maximum weight limit.
- Make sure cargo cannot easily be caught on the belt drive or
sprocket, and that it does not interfere with your ability to shift your
riding position to maintain balance, stability, and control.
- Check tire pressure to make sure they are properly inflated.
- Ride at reduced speeds and give yourself more time and space for
stopping.
