MAINTENANCE
CAUTION Do not squeeze the front brake lever after the front wheel is
removed. Doing so will cause difficulty in fitting the brake disc between the
brake pads.
Installing the Front Wheel
CAUTION The installation instruction and tightening torque values
must be strictly adhered to. Failure to do so can lead to damage to the
motorcycle.
The installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. However, pay
attention to the following:
9. Make sure to align the axle boots in the correct orientation, there
should be no gaps.
10. Grease the axle prior to inserting back in place. NOTE: Recommend
using automotive grease or any kind of waterproof lubricant for
mechanical applications.
NOTE: Insert axle from belt side of fork. Ensure spacers are back in
place.
11. Tighten the axle nut. TORQUE: 65ft-lb (88Nm)
12. Slide the front caliper back in place.
NOTE: Ensure the rotor is seated between the brake pads.
