Checking the air intake
In order to avoid engine damage when crossing fords:
► Always keep the opening of the engine air intake A above the
water.
► Check once a day for cleanliness before putting the machine
into operation.
1. Stop and park the machine. Stop the engine. See “Preparing
lubrication”.
2. Remove the starting key and carry it with you.
3. Open the engine cover.
4. Check and, if necessary, clean air intake A.
5. Close and lock the engine cover.
