3 Introduction
On-board documents
German traffic regulations (StVZO) require to have the following
documentation on board:
• German ABE (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis = general operating
license) or data confirmation
• Driving license
• Test report according to DGUV regulation 70 § 57 clause 2 of the
accident prevention regulation "Vehicles“
• Operator’s manual

On-board equipment
In Germany, § 53 StVZO requires that the following equipment be
supplied by the operating company and fitted on the machine:
• 1 warning triangle with design certification
• 1 warning light with design certification
• 1 wheel chock that matches the wheels of the machine
• 1 safety vest made of yellow or orange fluorescent material with
reflecting strips
• 1 first-aid kit in compliance with DIN 13 164 sheet. 1

Permissible operating temperature range
The operating temperature range for a machine serviced in compliance
with the maintenance instructions is
between -15 and +45°C (+5 and +113°F) during normal operation with
short intervals of operation at maximum output.
Operating temperatures below -15°C (+5°F) or over +45°C (+113°F)
require special equipment and/or material (hydraulic oil).
Please contact your dealer if you require more information on operation in
extreme areas.
