Why is the light output low on my Wacker Neuson LTN 6L?
    • R
      Rebecca LarsonAug 12, 2025
If your Wacker Neuson Lighting Equipment has low light output, the lamp may be degraded and need replacement due to normal lamp life. Another potential cause is low ballast output, so check the ballast for proper voltage output. Additionally, a dirty fixture or lens can reduce light, so clean the reflective surface inside the fixture and both the inside and outside surfaces of the glass lens.

What to do if the lamp will not light on my Wacker Neuson Lighting Equipment?
    • R

If the Wacker Neuson Lighting Equipment lamp won't light, several factors could be at play. First, the lamp may be too hot; allow it to cool for 10–15 minutes before attempting to restart it. Check for a faulty lamp connection by ensuring the lamp is securely tightened in its socket and inspecting connections inside the connection boxes on the light fixtures and tower. Also, inspect the lamp for a broken arc tube, outer lamp jacket, broken or loose components, or blackening/deposits inside the lamp tube. The circuit breaker may be turned on, so turn it off. The generator output might be incorrect; the incoming voltage to the ballast should be 120V ± 5V. If it's off, the engine speed may need adjustment, or the generator may require servicing. Finally, if the fixture cord is removed from it...
