2. MOTOR BRAKES - MANDATORY
Each column motor has a 24VDC brake which must be disengaged to allow motor operaon. The brake
is mechanically engaged and must have power to disengage.
Typical (example-only; see bolded text) motor brake connecons to the post terminaon box are:
PRIMARY COLUMN MOTOR BRAKE: Uses terminals (+) 25 & (-) 26
SECONDARY COLUMN MOTOR BRAKE: Uses terminals (+) 27 & (-) 28
Always refer to site-specic drawings issued for the project you are working on for actual electrical
connecons and installaon methods.
