Remove the empty data backup battery.
Insert the new data backup battery (1 piece, lithium battery, CR2430,
e.g. WTW type Batt/OxiTop
®
).
NOTE
Ensure that the battery is inserted in the correct position! The positive
pole must point upwards.
Set the upper case on top of the lower case, turn the controller and tighten
the housing screws using the screwdriver.
Switch on the controller. The message Please Set system clock! appears.
This message is a reminder and should be acknowledged by pressing
<RUN/ENTER>.
The battery change was successful if no error message appears concerning
the data backup battery.
Enter the current date/time and your settings.
Removing the data backup battery and the supply battery
simultaneously will erase all data (instrument reset)!
Dispose of used batteries according to the local regulations of your
country.
End users within the European Union are obligated to return used
batteries (even ecologically compatible ones) to a collection point
set up for recycling purposes.
Batteries are marked with the crossed-out waste container symbol.
Therefore, they may not be disposed with the domestic waste.
