*3 NNN indicates a numeric value.
*4 XXX indicates one of the following: the Yellow Toner (Y), Cyan Toner (C), Magenta
Toner (M), or Black Toner (K).
“Scan to” Folder Not Found
031-530
Sub folder information is incorrect. The incorrect slash is used “/”. The
folder does not exist, or the full path is specified.
Use a backslash “\”. Specify the shortened path of the folder on the
FTP server. For example, if you want the scanned files to go in a folder
called colorscans inside the scans folder, type \colorscans.
SMTP Connection Failed
016-764
The printer cannot find the email server specified.
Confirm the server address and authentication.
Invalid “From” Address
016-768
The return email address is invalid or incorrect.
Make sure the address includes @ or .com.
Server Not Found
013-576
If scanning to FTP on a Macintosh, FTP sharing is not turned on.
Server address is incorrect.
Verify the correct server address.

The authentication is set incorrectly.
