Repairs
4. Remove the Scanner Assembly (Figure 2):
a. Disconnect the connectors (3) from the Main PWB
b. Slide the Scanner to the Front and lift it off of the printer.
Route the wire harnesses through the Middle Cover.

Replacement
Install the components in the reverse of removal.

Removal
1. Switch Off the Printer and unplug the Power Cord.
2. Remove the Control Panel Assembly (REP 1.5).
3. Remove the Scanner Assembly Frame top screws (3), under the Control Panel Assembly
(Figure 1).
