Basic Network Installation
Information Checklist
Before starting the basic network installation procedures, please ensure the following items
are available or have been performed:
If problems are encountered during the WorkCentre M20i installation, refer to the Problem
Solving chapter for assistance.
CAUTION: Do not connect the network cable to the WorkCentre M20i until instructed
to do so.

procedures are not designed to install a network.

If you are going to configure TCP/IP manually, you need to obtain and
record the following information:
• TCP/IP Address:
• Gateway Address:
• Subnet Mask Address:
• Primary DNS Server Address:
Refer to the Glossary for additional information on the Gateway
Address, Subnet Mask Address and Primary DNS, if needed.
Customer
Test the WorkCentre M20i to ensure it is installed fully and functioning
correctly.
