The CE
mark indicates compliance with European safety and environmental regulations and
is required for engaging in business and commerce in Europe.
European standards include the Machinery Directive for machine manufacturers, the Low
Voltage Directive for electronics manufacturers and
the EMC guidelines for controlling noise.
This drive displays the CE mark based on the EMC guidelines and the Low Voltage Directive.

CE Low Voltage Directive Compliance
This drive has been tested according to IEC61800-5-1:2007, and it fully complies with the
Low Voltage Directive.
To comply with the Low Voltage Directive, be sure to meet the following conditions when
combining this drive with other devices:

Area of Use
Do not use drives in areas with
pollution higher than severity 2 and overvoltage category 3 in
accordance with IEC664.

Installing Fuses on the Input Side
Install recommended UL-approved fuses at the main power input of the drive. Select fuses
according to Table C.1.
