Configuring Basic Features

To configure the idle clock via phone user interface:
1. Press Menu->Basic->Display->Idle Clock.
2. Press or , or the Switch soft key to select the desired value from the Idle Clock
Display field.
3. Press the Save soft key to accept the change.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth enables low-bandwidth wireless connections within a range of 10 meters (32 feet).
The best performance is in the 1 to 2 meters (3 to 6 feet) range. You can activate/deactivate the
Bluetooth mode and then pair and connect the Bluetooth headset with your phone. For SIP-
T48S/T48G/T46S/T46G/T29G/CP920 IP phone, you can connect your Bluetooth-Enabled mobile
phone to the IP phone, and then synchronize the mobile contacts to the IP phone. For CP920 IP
phones, you can also use your IP phone as a Bluetooth speaker for your mobile phone and PC.
You can set up a conference among the calls on your IP phone, the PSTN and connected
mobile phone.

. It is only applicable to
SIP-T54S/T52S/T48G/T48S/T46G/T46S/T42S/T41S/T29G/T27G/CP920 IP phones.
You can personalize the Bluetooth device name for the IP phone. The pre-configured Bluetooth
device name will display in scanning list of other devices. It is helpful for the other Bluetooth
devices to identify and pair with your IP phone.

features.bluetooth_enable
Configure the Bluetooth device
name.

Configure the Bluetooth media
audio feature.
Parameter:
bluetooth.a2dp_sink
To use this feature on SIP-T48G/T48S/T46G/T46S/T42S/T41S/T29G/T27G IP phones, make sure
the Bluetooth USB dongle is properly connected to the USB port on the back of the phone.
