4.2.3 Turning the Multi Laser Module On
• Close laser protection cover or laser protection
incubator.
• Turn the power strip on to supply power to the
multi laser module.
• Transfer the On/Off switch (
Fig. 4-7/1) of the
signal distribution box into On position.
The green control LED (built into the switch)
lights.
• Trigger AxioVision software session.
• Turn the key switch (
Fig. 4-8/1) of the laser con-
troller into position ON.
• To turn a desired laser line on, press the related
button (
Fig. 4-8/2).
The corresponding red control LED (
Fig. 4-8/3)
will light.
If the safety device is found to function
in a non-conforming manner, you
should shut the system down, clearly
mark it as defective and contact the
Service Department of Carl Zeiss
MicroImaging GmbH immediately.
Place the laser controller directly beside the microscope. This enables you to track which laser is
currently on (LED ON (
Fig. 4-8/3)).
