Parameters 355
English English. 1033
Hindi (India) Hindi. 2052
96.02 Pass code Pass codes can be entered into this parameter to activate
further access levels (see parameter 96.03 Access level
status) or to configure the user lock.
Entering “358” toggles the parameter lock, which prevents the
changing of all other parameters through the control panel or
the Drive composer PC tool.
Entering the user pass code (by default, “10000000”) enables
parameters 96.100…96.102, which can be used to define a
new user pass code and to select the actions that are to be
prevented.
Entering an invalid pass code will close the user lock if open,
ie. hide parameters 96.100…96.102. After entering the code,
check that the parameters are in fact hidden.
Note: You must change the default user pass code to
maintain a high level of cybersecurity. Store the code in a safe
place – the protection cannot be disabled even by ABB if the
code is lost.
See also section User lock (page 96).
