Configuring SSM
To configure the SSM function, set the FSO parameters listed below to appropriate
values using the Drive composer pro PC tool. See parameter group SSMx on
page 435.
You can use the SSM function either with a safety encoder or with a safe speed
estimate. For more information on the SSM function, see page 182. If you use an
encoder, you must configure the encoder interface first (see section Configuring the
safety encoder interface on page 313).
Note: Depending on the application, set the negative and positive SSM limits
separately.
