Inspection, dampers
The procedure below details how to inspect the dampers, axes 2-5
Action Note
1.
DANGER!
Turn off all electric power, hydraulic and pneumatic
pressure supplies to the robot!
For Foundry Prime robots: Do not turn off the air
pressure to motors and SMB.
2. Check all dampers for damage, and for cracks or
existing impressions larger than 1 mm.
To inspect the damper, axis 4, remove the two covers
on top of the upper arm!
Shown in the figure Location of
dampers on page 146!
3. Check attachment screws for deformation.
4. If any damage is detected, the damper must be
replaced with a new one!
