Securing the robot
The procedure below details how to secure the robot to the base plate after fitting the plate to
the foundation.
Hole configuration, base
The illustration below shows the hole configuration used when securing the robot.

1. Lift the robot. Detailed in section Lifting robot with
lifting slings on page 59.
2. Move the robot to the vicinity of its installation
location.
3. Fit two guide sleeves to the guide sleeve holes
in the base plate.

grooves and holes on page 66.
Note that one of the guide sleeve holes
is elongated!
4. Guide the robot gently using two M24 screws
while lowering it into its mounting position.
Make sure the robot base is correctly
fitted onto the guide sleeves!
5. Fit the bolts and washers in the base
attachment holes.

Note! Lightly lubricate the screws
before assembly!
6. Tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern to
ensure that the base is not distorted.
