Inspecting, dampers
The procedure below details how to inspect the dampers.

A damaged damper must be replaced.

DANGER
Turn off all:
• electric power supply
• hydraulic pressure supply
• air pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the safeguarded
space.

Check all dampers for damage, cracks or exist-
ing impressions larger than 1 mm.

Check attachment screws for deformation.3
Attachment screws:If any damage is detected, the damper must be
replaced with a new one.

Axis 2 and axis 3: M6x60 8.8-A2F
(9ADA624-65 )
Axis 5: M6x25 A2-70 (9ADA619-58 )
Locking liquid: Loctite 2400 (or equi-
valent Loctite 243).
DANGER
Make sure all safety requirements are met when
performing the first test run. See Test run after
installation, maintenance, or repair on page 94.
