Removing the SMB unit
Use these procedures to disconnect and remove the SMB unit.
Preparations before removing the SMB unit

Jog the robot to calibration position, if possible.
This position facilitates updating of the revolution
counters afterwards.

DANGER
Turn off all:
electric power supply
hydraulic pressure supply
air pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the safeguarded
space.

Removing the electronic box

Make sure that all supplies for electrical power, hy-
draulic pressure, and air pressure are turned off.

The unit is sensitive to ESD. Before handling the unit
