Significance of the parameters:
NomFreq
Power system frequency setting:
· 50Hz or 60Hz.
A/D
defines the type of A/D converter. Choose either “EA62…” or
“EA63…” to correspond to the A/D converter unit inserted in
the longitudinal line differential protection:
· on VC61: A/D converter on 316VC61
· EA6. MasterS: short data transmission distance
· EA6. SlaveS: short data transmission distance
· EA6. MasterL: long data transmission distance
· EA6. SlaveL: long data transmission distance
· EA6. MstFoxS: short data trans. distance using FOX
· EA6. MstFoxL: long data trans. distance using FOX
· EA6. SlvFoxS: short data trans. distance using FOX
· EA6. SlvFoxL: long data trans. distance using FOX.
The setting of the data transmission distance is normally
determined by the attenuation of the optical fibre cable (OFC)
between the two units.
