3. Wait for the meter to analyse the sample
and display the test result.
The meter counts down then displays the
test result. If an error is detected during
the assay, the assay is terminated and no
result is displayed. Once the assay begins,
all key presses are ignored until the assay is
completed.
4. Note the test result and whether it falls
within the acceptable range.
If required, scan or manually enter the
comment code and press Enter. If there
is no prompt to enter a comment code
skip down to step 5.
Control test results can appear as numeric or
PASS/FAIL, depending on how the test is set
up. If numeric, an "X" will appear in front of a
test result that is out-of-range.
The meter may be enabled to scan or enter a
1- to 2-digit comment code.
