17 Special procedures
17.1 Use of NO (Nitric Oxide)
IMPORTANT:
If Nitric Oxide Systems like the InoMax or InoVent are used to deliver NO, make sure the setup of the
circuit is done as per below graphic. It is important to place the flow sensor of the NO delivery system
directly at the fresh gas outlet of the fabian HFO.
The measuring line must be placed close to patient in Inspiratory Limb.
