Idle Timer and Background State
This app will temporarily disable the idle timer on your IPad to prevent the app
from going into the background automatically. It ignores the screen timeout you
have set in the IPad display settings. This insures that the screen won’t go dark
while using this app. When you leave the app, the idle timer is re-enabled so that
it works normally.
When you force the app to the background by pressing the home button, the Link
controller will continue to output the DMX512 signal on the 4 DMX connectors.
The app will no longer be updating the output and the output will hold on the last
values that were received from the app. If you are running a static scene, nothing
will change. If you are running an effect or show that uses a timer, it will pause
until you restart the app.
