4. Use the arrow keys to move the camera to the desired view pattern, using the Zoom, Focus,
and Iris settings as needed. The pattern that the camera follows is recorded.
5. Click the End button to terminate recording the pattern.
To activate the Pattern:
1. In the main PTZ interface, enter the Pattern number you want to playback into the No. field,
using the numeric keypad.

2. Click to initiate the selected Pattern. The camera moves to all the locations that were
recorded in the selected Pattern. Click again to stop the Pattern.
Border
Border is the right and left limitations that you set for camera movement. Borders determine the
pattern limits for Auto Scan.

To setup the Borders:
1. In the PTZ Control panel, select the Border tab.
2. Use the arrow keys to move the camera to the desired left-most limit.
3. Click the Left button. The Left limit is defined.
4. Repeat steps 1-3, this time setting the Right side border.
