22. Real-time video color is distorted
Possible reasons:
• When using BNC output, the NTSC and PAL setup is not correct. The real-time video
displays in monochrome
• NVR and monitor resistance is not compatible
• Video transmission is too long or is excessively degraded
• NVR color or brightness setup is not correct
23. Motion detection function does not work
Possible reasons:
• Period setup is not correct
• Motion detection zone setup is not correct
• Sensitivity is too low
• For some versions, there is a hardware limitation
24. Remote control does not work
Possible reasons:
• Remote control address is not correct
• Distance is too far or control angle is too small
• Remote control battery power is low
• Remote control is damaged or NVR front panel is damaged
25. Cannot connect to the IP Camera
Possible reasons:
• The IPC has not booted up
• IPC network connection is not online
• The IPC’s IP is in the blacklist
• The device has to too many connected cameras
• The IPC port value and time zone are not the same as for the NVR
• Current network environment is not stable
26. After I set the NVR resolution to 1080P the monitor does not display
Possible solution—Restore NVR resolution to the default setup:
• Shut down the device and then reboot. When you reboot, press the Fn button at the
same time and then release after 5 seconds.
27. My admin account has been changed and I cannot log in
Possible solution:
• Use telnet and then input the following command:
cd /mnt/mtd/Config/
rm -rf group
rm -rf password
• Reboot the device to restore the default password
