• Press the LAN/LIS tab for information on the
following icons that indicate the status of an
instrument connected to a local area network (LAN)
or a Laboratory Information System (LIS).

Gray: Disabled
Red: Enabled and disconnected
Green: Enabled and connected
LAN
Green: Connected
Gray: Disconnected
• Press the Access levels tab for information on the
following icons that indicate the access levels of
instrument users.

Red: Administrator
Yellow: Supervisors, administrators
White: Operators, administrators
Yellow, white: All users
2.12 Main menu
The Main menu provides a button for each major
function: Calibration, Results, Settings, and Diagnostics.
The following table provides an overview of each
function.
Function Description/Use
Calibration Displays the Calibration screen; see Calibration
for details.
NOTE: The OsmoTECH has been calibrated at
the factory. However, you should recalibrate it in
certain circumstances. See When to recalibrate
for more information.
Results Displays a list of test results; see Results for
details.
Settings Displays the Settings menu for access to
configuration options; see Settings for details.
Diagnostics Displays the Diagnostics menu for access to
system tests and performance data; see
Diagnostics for details.
