3.12 Assigning user restrictions
Administrators can set which features supervisors and
operators can access before or after adding users to
the instrument.
Features include networking, calibration, control
information, data management, changing probe
resistance, date and time, system updating, and
changing user accounts.
1. Press SETTINGS > RESTRICTIONS.
2. Log into your account.
3. Press SUPERVISOR ACCESS to select features
supervisors can access.
4. Select OPERATOR ACCESS to select features
operators can access.
5. Press SAVE.
Configuring calibration access and optional calibration
Administrators and supervisors can configure which
operator-level users can perform calibrations, and can
also enable optional 0 and/or 2000 mOsm calibrations.
1. Click on the Calibration tab.
2. Select the Calibrate checkbox if you want operators
to be able to perform that function.
3. Select one or both of the optional 0 and 2000
mOsm calibration points.
Changing password settings
Users can change the password strength requirements
for user passwords, such as:
• Required length (number of characters)
• Minimum number of lower case characters
• Minimum number of UPPER case characters
• Minimum number numeric characters.
• Minimum number of special characters (#, ~, !, etc.)
1. Press SETTINGS > RESTRICTIONS > PASSWORDS.
2. Set passwords to expire at 30 days, 60 days,
90 days, 180 days, or never.
