4.1. Unpacking
Open the packaging carefully.
Save the packaging material (for possible forwarding transports or returns of the
DLT-V83).
Check the shipment for completeness and any possible damage.
Always keep the supplied manuals and documents.
4.2. Transport
CAUTION
The device can fall down during transportation and cause injuries.
Always hold the device by the housing with both hands.
Never use the antenna cap as a handle. It can break due to the weight load.
4.3. Storage
4.3.1. Protecting touchscreens from damage
If DLT-V83 devices are being stored:
Protect touchscreens from sharp edges, impacts, and heavy objects.
If stacking, do not stack higher than four devices.
Place devices front-to-front in this case.
The VESA mounting point on the rear side of the device can damage the
touchscreen of another device.
Use protective material (non-flammable!) between the devices as a precaution.
4.3.2. Device with integrated UPS and lithium-ion batteries
DLT-V83 devices with internal UPS (optional) are equipped with lithium-ion batteries in
the cable cover of the device. Lithium-ion batteries are chemical stores of energy which
can lead to personal injury or physical damage if they are stored or handled improperly.
