• Mass filter temperature sensor failed

• Source power cable is not connected to the sideboard
†
• MSD electronics are not working correctly
† These will cause an error message.
GC/MSD interface will not heat up
• Incorrect setpoint(s)
• Setpoint entered in wrong heated zone
• GC/MSD interface has not had enough time to reach temperature setpoint
• GC is off
• GC experienced a fault and needs to be reset

• GC/MSD interface heater/sensor cable is not connected
†
• GC/MSD heater failed (burned out)
†
• GC/MSD sensor failed
†
• GC electronics are not working correctly
†
† These will cause a GC error message. GC error messages are described in
the documentation supplied with your GC.
