Using Programming Software in DH+ Applications 3-15
Using RSLogix 5000
RSLogix 5000 is required to send read/write message instructions from
a ControlLogix controller in DH+ applications. To send messages,
follow these steps:
1. Start the RSLogix 5000 software.
2. Begin a new project or open an existing project.
3. Add a message instruction (MSG) to the new rung of ladder
logic.
IMPORTANT
You are not required to add the 1756-DHRIO module
to the Controller Organizer to send message
instructions from a ControlLogix controller in a DH+
application.
A. Right-click on Main
Routine to see the menu.
B. Click on Open.
