AHL ChannelSts data type
The following table describes the AHL ChannelSts data type.
Parameter Data type Description
DTRstatus UINT Used for the DTR signal (reserved)
DCDstatus UINT Used for the DCD signal (bit 3 of word)
1 indicates active
DSRstatus UINT Used for the DSR signal (reserved)
RTSstatus UINT Used for the RTS signal (bit 1 of word)
1 indicates active
CTSstatus UINT Used for the CTS signal (bit 0 of word)
1 indicates active
AHLI data type
The following table describes the AHL data type.
Parameter Data type Description
Channel UINT Serial port number:
• 2 for the embedded serial port, or
• 5-9 for serial port plug-ins installed in slots 1 through 5:
• 5 for slot 1
• 6 for slot 2
• 7 for slot 3
• 8 for slot 4
• 9 for slot 5
ClrRts BOOL Used to reset the RTS control line.
SetRts BOOL Used to set the RTS control line.
Cancel BOOL When this input is set to TRUE, this function block does not execute.
