Micro800 controller support for HSC
All Micro830 and Micro850 controllers, except for 2080-LCxx-AWB, support up
to six HSC inputs. HSC functionality is implemented in Micro800 controllers
using high-speed counter hardware (embedded inputs in the controller), and the
HSC instruction in the application. The HSC instruction configures the high-
speed counter hardware and updates the image accumulator.
Important:
The HSC function can only be used with the controller's embedded I/O. It cannot be used with expansion
I/O modules.
