Chapter 7 LCL Filter Component Section
Remove the LCL Filter
Protective Barrier
To remove the LCL filter protective barrier, follow these steps.
1. Remove power from the AFE.
See Remove Power from the AFE
on page 37.
2. Remove the 16 T25 Torx self-tapping screws that secure the protective
barrier.
3. Remove the protective barrier from the LCL filter enclosure.

Install the LCL Filter

Reinstall the protective barrier in reverse order of removal. See To rq u e
Specifications on page 36.
Replace the LCL Filter DC Fan
Fuses
The LCL filter DC fan fuses are on the interior sidewall above the LCL filter
assembly.

IMPORTANT Replace LCL filter fan fuses with only ATQ8 (Ferraz Shawmut) fuses.
