The following table shows the conditions for permitted missing dots and auto cleaning for each
nozzle check mode.
•Anti-missing Dot Mode
The auto nozzle check is performed at each timing, and by performing the auto head cleaning
when necessary, missing dots are prevented.
•Anti-missing Read Mode
The auto nozzle check is performed at each timing, and by performing the auto head cleaning
when necessary, missing reads due to missing dots are prevented.
•Anti-missing Color Mode
The auto nozzle check is performed at each timing, and by performing the auto head cleaning
when necessary, missing colors due to missing dots are prevented.

Because the nozzle check is performed periodically during continuous printing, printing may
be interrupted for approximately 8 seconds.
If more than 1 missing dot is detected, the auto head cleaning is performed to resolve the
missing dot.
Because the nozzle check is performed periodically during continuous printing, printing may
be interrupted for approximately 8 seconds.
If more than 2 missing dot is detected, the auto head cleaning is performed to resolve the
missing dot.
Because the nozzle check is performed periodically during continuous printing, printing may
be interrupted for approximately 8 seconds.
If 3 or more consecutive missing dots or 10 missing dots or more are detected, the auto head
cleaning is performed to resolve the missing dots.
