NOTE
Highway crossing gate mechanisms manufactured on September 1,
2003 and later are equipped with a redesigned power down module
(Figure 1-2). Gate mechanisms manufactured before this date that need
a replacement power down module will require the new Power Down
Module Upgrade Kit, X46700031. The old and new modules are
functionally identical; power down modules that are operating properly
do not need to be replaced.
