34 CT I Center tap signal for shift register mode.
The number of connected input and output shift registers will be
detected using this signal.
9 PA O Process active signal for shift register mode.
In a PROFINET shift register stand-alone application, the PA
signal must be used to clear outputs, when the Anybus
CompactCom M40 is not in state PROCESS ACTIVE. Otherwise
it will not be possible to certify the final product. See the Anybus
CompactCom 40 PROFINET IRT Network Guide for more
information.
