2.6.1 Language Selection Menu
The A-2000 is designed to support multiple languages. If the screen does not display
the desired language, follow these steps to display the Language Selection Menu:
1. Press [MENU/EXIT] to access the Setup Menu.
2. Highlight Advanced Setup using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
3. Press [SELECT].
4. Highlight Language Selection Menu using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
5. Press [SELECT]. The Language Selection Menu displays.
To change languages:
1. Press [SELECT] until the desired language is selected.
2. Use the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows to highlight Return to Advanced Setup Menu
and press [SELECT]. This will redisplay the Advanced Setup Menu in the
selected language.
3. To make sure that the selected language displays every time the monitor is
turned on, use the arrows to highlight Save Settings, then press [SELECT] to
save setting changes.
2.6.2 Time/Date
To set the current time and date:
1. Press [MENU/EXIT] to access the Setup Menu.
2. Highlight Advanced Setup using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
3. Press [SELECT].
4. Highlight Time/Date using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
5. Press [SELECT] until the date or time value you wish to update appears in
reverse video.
6. Use the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows to increase or decrease the values displayed.
7. Press [SELECT] to move to the next date or time value.
8. To save the date or time changes, press [SELECT] at the last Time/Date option
(minutes). Pressing [Menu/Exit] before this last option aborts previous changes.
9. Press [MENU/EXIT] to exit from the Advanced Setup Menu.
Note:
The time/date is initially set for the Eastern Standard Time zone (USA). It
will be necessary for you to change the time twice per year using the
Time/Date feature if you are located in a time zone that alters its clocks at
the beginning or end of Daylight Savings Time.
When a time/date is entered that is earlier than the current time/date in
the monitor, all data memory will be erased. The prompt, "Clear Data
Memory?" will appear to alert you of this. Press [SELECT] to confirm, or
press [MENU/EXIT] to abort.
2.6.3 Save Settings
The A-2000 monitor will always power up configured to settings that have been saved in
memory. To save the current configuration settings:
1. Press [MENU/EXIT] to access the Setup Menu.
2. Highlight Advanced Setup using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
