Filters - The A-2000 uses filters to screen out undesirable interference from the raw
EEG signal display. If you prefer to observe the raw EEG without the filters, they may be
turned off.
To turn the Filters off:
1. Press [MENU/EXIT] to access the Setup Menu.
2. Highlight Advanced Setup using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
3. Press [SELECT].
4. Highlight Display Parameter Setup using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
5. Press [SELECT].
6. Highlight Filters using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
7. Press [SELECT] until OFF appears in reverse video.
8. Press the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows to move to the next menu item, or
9. Press [MENU/EXIT] to exit.
To permanently save this change, use the “Save Settings” option in the Advanced Setup
Menu.
EEG Sweep Speed mm/sec – Allows the user to change the EEG sweep speed to 15,
25, or 30 mm/second.
To change the EEG Sweep Speed:
1. Press [MENU/EXIT] to access the Setup Menu.
2. Highlight Advanced Setup using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
3. Press [SELECT].
4. Highlight Display Parameter Setup using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
5. Press [SELECT].
6. Highlight EEG Sweep Speed using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
7. Press [SELECT] until the desired sweep speed appears in reverse video.
8. Press the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows to move to the next menu item, or
9. Press [MENU/EXIT] to exit.
To permanently save this change, use the “Save Settings” option in the Advanced Setup
Menu.
EEG Amplitude
μv/div – (Display Type - EEG only) Allows the user to change the EEG
amplitude to 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 μV/div.
To change the EEG Amplitude:
1. Press [MENU/EXIT] to access the Setup Menu.
2. Highlight Advanced Setup using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
3. Press [SELECT].
4. Highlight Display Parameter Setup using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
5. Press [SELECT].
6. Highlight EEG Amplitude using the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows.
7. Press [SELECT] until the desired EEG amplitude appears in reverse video.
8. Press the up [↑] or down [↓] arrows to move to the next menu item, or
9. Press [MENU/EXIT] to exit.
To permanently save this change, use the “Save Settings” option in the Advanced Setup
Menu.
