Max BIS: The maximum value for BIS during the previous minute. For example, if the
time listed is 09:00, the maximum value recorded from 8:59:01 through 09:00:00 is
displayed.
Min BIS: The minimum value for BIS during the previous minute.
Average BIS, EMG, SR, SQI, BURST: The average values for BIS, EMG, Suppression
Ratio, Signal Quality Index and Burst Count during the previous minute. (Note that Burst
Count is available only when a BIS Extend sensor is in use.) When signal quality is poor
(below 50), an asterisk (*) is displayed next to the SQI value. When signal quality is very
low, the BIS, SR, and Burst Count values are not reported.
The following indicators display with the appropriate line:
S – Start of case
E – End of case
T – The TIME/DATE has been changed in the Advanced Setup Menu.
→ - Event marked within previous minute.
Printed reports: When a printer is available, the BIS Log data for the displayed case
may be printed by pressing the “PRINT” key.
The BIS numeric display for the current procedure will continue to be updated and
parameter alarms will continue to be announced during BIS Log display.
