These connections are live during testing. Do not come into
contact with either the DUT Output Line or Neutral connections
during a test, as this may present a serious shock hazard.
5.1.4. Adapter Box Connections
The adapter box may be used for products that are terminated in either a two prong or
three prong line cord. Connect the adapter box to the DUT Output L (line) and N
(neutral) terminals, and the GND terminal. The adaptor box will now provide power to
the DUT during Line Leakage testing and Functional Run testing.
The adapter box may only be used for applications under 20
amps. If an application in which more than 20 amps of input
current is required, please use the stand-alone input and output
cables provided with the instrument.
The following diagram shows how to connect the 620L to a DUT using the adapter
box:
