1.5. Key Features of the 620L
ENHANCED GRAPHIC LCD
DISPLAY
Provides the operator with the ability to complete
test setups and review results in an easy-to-use
interface. Eliminates the need to decipher cryptic
abbreviations. The graphic display makes testing
safer, easier and more reliable than ever before.
CAL-ALERT
Alerts the operator that the machine is due for
calibration in advance of the calibration due date.
SECURITY ACCESS
This allows the instrument to be setup to allow for
different levels of access to the instruments setup
programs. Users can setup passwords for
restricting access to certain parts of the menu.
50 PROGRAMMABLE TEST
SETUPS WITH 30 STEPS PER
SETUP
Each test setup can store up to 30 steps which
can be configured to perform any of the safety
tests. All steps can be linked together to form a
complete automated test routine. Each setup can
be named for easy identification and recall.
EXCLUSIVE PROMPT AND
HOLD FUNCTION
The 620L allows operators to setup a user-
configured message that is displayed in between
test steps. This is a very convenient feature for
applications where test leads need to be moved or
when DUT switches need to be activated as part
of the test cycle.
PLC REMOTE INPUTS &
OUTPUTS
Two standard 9 pin interfaces provide outputs for
PASS, FAIL, RESET and TEST IN PROCESS
signals. Inputs include TEST, INTERLOCK,
RESET and remote recall of MEMORIES 1 - 10.
Provides the user with the ability to operate the
620L through simple PLC relay control.
6 BUILT-IN MEASURING
DEVICES WITH EXTERNAL
CONNECTION CAPABILITY
The 620L has 6 built-in measuring devices as
specified by the most common industry standards.
In addition, operators may connect a custom
measuring device of their own to the external
measuring device inputs.
INTERCONNECTION
CAPABILITY WITH HIPOT
AND GROUND BOND
TESTERS
The 620L may be connected to a Hypot III, Hyamp
III, HypotULTRA III, or HypotMAX safety tester to
form a complete electrical safety testing system.
