Warnings Installation
INSTALLATION:
CAUTION: Heavy product, handle with care :
1/ Install the unit in a frost-protected room. If the unit is broken
by overpressure due to a pressure relief valve blockage, the
warranty will not apply.
2/ Make sure the partition on which the unit is mounted can
support the weight of the unit lled with water.
3/ If the unit is to be installed in a room or location where the
ambient temperature is constantly higher than 35°C, ensure
sucient ventilation.
4/ For bathrooms, do not install the unit in
areas V0, V1 or V2. If the dimensions do
not allow any alternatives, installation in
area V2 is permissible.
5/ This product is intended for use at alti-
tudes up to 2000 metres.
6/ Place the unit in a location with easy access.
7/ Refer to the installation gures in the Installation chapter.
• How to ax suspended units: In order to facilitate the hea-
ting element’s replacement, allow at least 480 mm under-
neath the end ttings of the water heater’s pipes. The clea-
rance required for the unit’s correct installation is specied
in the “Installation” section.
• The oor-standing vertical water heater must be xed to
the oor using a specially designed mounting system.
• This water heater is tted with a thermostat with an opera-
ting temperature of more than 60 °C at its maximum posi-
tion, capable of reducing the growth of legionella bacte-
ria in the tank. Caution! Above 50 °C, water could cause
