7.8 MAC-Based Authentication

The network administrator can configure MAC-based authentication.
To configure MAC-based authentication:
• Use the table as reference:

Parameter Description
provisioning/configuration/mac_address_in_header
Enables MAC-based authentication.
0 = (default) Don't insert the phone's MAC
address in the header.
1 = Insert the phone's MAC address in the
header.
